Traits Visuals is a documentary photography studio based in Kampala, Uganda. Since 2019 we have made it our craft to photograph life as it truly unfolds — the quiet moments, the human detail and the wider story behind every frame. As documentary photographers, we go beyond staged portraits to capture authenticity: the dignity of a community, the urgency of a humanitarian mission, or the character of a brand at work.

Across more than 60 projects, we have documented people and organisations throughout Uganda and East Africa — from field missions and cultural stories to corporate and editorial assignments. Our images are made to endure: to move donors, engage audiences and give voice to the people at the heart of every story.
